This morning the sales of Denis Matsuev’s personal subscription series started at the Moscow Philharmonic. The series “Soloist – Denis Matsuev” consists of 3 concerts. By midday 309 subscriptions had been sold and 402 subscriptions had been booked on the phone. The Philharmonic expects to run out of subscriptions on Saturday or at least on Sunday. In Denis Matsuev’s personal series take part the Russian National Orchestra with conductor Gianandrea Nozeda, the Academic Symphony orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic with conductor Yuri Simonov, and the third concert will be the pianist’s recital.
